After seeing a link on facebook for the Toyota dream car competition, the kids decided to have a go at designing their own car. I love projects that inspire kids to be creative and use their imaginations, so out came all our crafting supplies. Ivy at first was inspired to create her dream car and soon splattered paint randomly over her page.Before long though, she declared that she "didn't want to do a car anymore, I just want to paint my favourite colours"( fair enough!"). Jay on the other hand thought for a while about the task and decided that he wanted to create a soccer car. It had a field with players, as well as cameras and big screens to televise the game to the people outside. He also included a snow repelling devise which draws in the snow through tubes on the top and disposes of it through the back and front of the vehicle. Although the designs will not make it to this years competition deadline,both kids had a great time working on their projects.
