Travelling home from Sydney last weekend we decided to stop at Caves beach. It was a lovely day and as we very rarely stop along the way, unless it's for petrol, it was a nice change of pace. I can't remember taking the little kids here before and they quickly ran off on their own, exploring the caves that line the beautiful coastline. Not having their cosie's on didn't stop the kids from wading through the water that was in the caves (as long as I tested out the depth first! ) and our shorts become so wet that Ivy's kept slipping down because of their weight. As late afternoon is my favourite time to go to the beach, it isn't too hot and not many people, this stop over was perfect. I think in the future, stop overs on the Sydney run might happen more often!

Check out take3.org.au/ to see why I collect rubbish (in particular plastic) off the beach every time we visit.
