We have a comedian in the family.

I love four year olds humour, it's hilarious because it's not really that funny! At this age they are just getting the idea of jokes while still trying to figure out what makes people laugh.

Most evenings, during dinner, Ivy has been sharing jokes with us, and as is typical for this age range they generally centre around knock knocks and varying things that cross the road.
Here is a few that made us laugh!

Why did the cow cross the road?
To go shopping!

Why did the elephant put it's trunk on it's foot?
Cause it was itchy!

Knock knock
Who's there?
Candle
Candle who?
There's one right over there!

Knock knock
Who's there?
Door
Door who?
There's a door right there!
( At this point I said "that's the same as the other one" her reply? "Just write it down, it's funny")

Why did the lion cross the road?
To get to the trampoline

Why did the tiger cross the road?
To get to the trampoline...they both wanted to go so they went!

Why did the chewing gum cross the road?
Cause it was stuck to the monkeys foot, he had no fingers or hands!

Why did the people cross the road?
Cause there was a red light and they accidentally passed!

I'm not sure if she will make it to the comedy club with these jokes but for the moment she is making us laugh!

See you later
Mumma Bear.
