Last weekend after soccer we went to visit our local Fire brigade for their annual open day. Jay wasn't that keen to visit at first as he had a played a hard game and was buggered, but once we got there both of them were all over the trucks and equipment. The neighbours must love this time of the year, the siren was constantly going off thanks to all the kids knowing where the button was, while Ivy spent most of the with her hands over her ears! The coolest part for the kids was when they got to use to hose to knock down some witches hats. Ivy was so very determined to knock them all down that when the fire fighter went to turn off the hose thinking she had finished she pointed out to him that she hadn't knock them all yet and had to keep going! We spent quiet a while there, but after the kids had received their activity packs and had a sausage sandwich (or two) we decided to head home for an afternoon around the camp fire.
See ya
