Last week I began a 4week night class for beginners SLR photography. It's something I have wanted to do since I got my camera and it is on my goal list for this year so I finally took the plunge and signed up. So far we have already learnt how to move from automatic mode to being able to adjust the aperture and shutter speed, and eventually we will be able to use it in full manual mode!
For homework this week we have to focus on taking shots at a high speed, so while we were down the park this afternoon I took some photos using the technique. (Apart from the last one which is on a slow shutter speed) I have plans to take pictures of fire and a nerd gun firing before the week is out, so they should look interesting and get me away from the water theme that seemed to be happening!
Any way putting these photos on this blog is a record of where I've begun and hopefully when I look back at them in the future I will see improvement.
Till next time
